Our website Style Furniture: www.stylefurniture.co.uk; is operated by Speed 9521 Ltd, registered address: Louth Road, Fotherby, Louth, Lincolnshire LN11 0TD (Company Number: 4676565).  All references to “we”, “us” and “our” shall be deemed to be references to Speed 9521 Ltd and references to “you” and “your” shall be deemed to be references to persons placing an order via this website.

The following terms and conditions apply to all use of the Style Furniture website and for orders placed using this website. Separate terms and conditions apply for purchases made in store.

By placing an order with us you agree to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions. Please note, as these may be subject to change at any time without notice, it is your responsibility to check this page prior to any use or purchase. If you have any queries regarding our terms and conditions, please contact us before use or order placement.

 

1. Basis of Sale

1.1 When placing an order, you agree that all details you provide to www.stylefurniture.co.uk for the purpose of purchasing goods are accurate and complete in all respects.

1.2 Your contract for purchases made through www.stylefurniture.co.uk is with Speed 9521 Ltd and you confirm that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only.

1.3 All orders are subject to product availability and acceptance by Speed 9521 Ltd.

1.4 The price and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.

1.5 All offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. Any offer of free delivery is limited to the UK mainland only.

1.6 By placing an order via this website, you are making an offer to Speed 9521 Ltd to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described, at which point your credit/debit card will be pre-authorised. If your using a PayPal account the funds will be debited at the point of order placement.

1.7 You certify that the payment method you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product/s ordered.
1.8 No charge will be applied to credit/debit cards accounts until the point that the order is accepted.

1.9.  It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will have their details passed onto the Police.

 

2. Conformity of Goods

2.1 Every care is taken to ensure that the description, specification and pricing of all products shown on our website is correct. The product information and specification provided is not binding, but is carefully considered and intended to give a general description of each product.

2.2 As many of our products our handmade dimensions indicated on our site have a 2.5cm/1” tolerance.

2.3 The images of the products on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's or device's display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the products. Your products may vary slightly from those images.

2.4 All prices are shown inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated in the products title.

2.5 We will act immediately to correct any error identified and are under no legal obligation to honour a price displayed in error.

 

3. Payment

3.1 We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit or debit card. Payment cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa, Delta and Maestro. We also accept payment via PayPal.

3.2 All goods must be paid in full on acceptance of your order unless the total purchase price is over £750. On orders over this value you can choose to pay a 20 per cent deposit of the total purchase price upon acceptance of the order and the balance thereof prior to delivery.

4. Delivery

4.1. All delivery time-frames stated are estimated and may be subject to change. We shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of goods caused by circumstances beyond our control.

4.2. Delivery of goods shall be made by one of our carriers to the delivery address shown on the order. It is important that this address and your contact details are accurate.

4.3 All goods must be paid in full before delivery. Once the goods have been deemed to have been delivered, ownership and risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the customer. Our responsibility for everything other than damage due to our negligence or due to a manufacturing design fault will cease upon delivery.

4.4 Every effort will be made to ensure that the goods you have ordered arrive undamaged, complete and without defect. Where reasonable, the goods must be examined in the presence of our carrier. If you should find a defect, ensure that it is noted on the carrier’s paperwork and contact our customer service team as soon as possible.

 

5. Cancellation

5.1 You have the right to cancel your order without giving any reason for a full refund.

5.2 The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which your goods are delivered.

5.3. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us Speed 9521 Ltd t/a Style Furniture of Louth Road, Fotherby, Louth, LN11 0TD, telephone 01507 601510 or by email at sales@stylefurniture.co.uk of your decision to cancel this by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory.

5.4. We reserve the right to make a deduction from any refund due to loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. You are permitted to handle the goods to establish their nature, characteristics and function. In other words, what would be considered reasonable behaviour if you were assessing an item in our furniture store. 

If your use of the product extends beyond this, the furniture will become second-hand and loose approximately 40-50 per cent of its value.  However, we will only deduct a maximum of 25 per cent off the purchase price.

5.5 If you cancel the contract after the goods have been delivered, you will bear the cost of returning the goods to us. We can arrange the collection of goods for a charge. Charges are calculated on a case by case basis depending on the nature of the goods and where they are collected from. Examples of collection charges are as follows:

5.6 Alternatively you can arrange for the goods to be returned yourself, but you must exercise reasonable care in doing so. You must return the goods without undue delay, and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us.

5.7 We will refund you without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day the goods are returned to us or if no goods have been delivered, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless mutually agreed otherwise.

 

6. Faults or Damaged Goods

6.1 You are asked to examine the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. Any claim by you based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to correspond with specification must be notified to us within 30 days from the date of delivery or within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect or failure if it was not apparent on reasonable inspection.

6.2 Where a valid claim in respect of goods delivered is notified to us within 30 days of the delivery date, you are entitled to either reject the goods and receive a full refund, or have the goods (or the part in question) repaired or replaced free of charge.

6.3 Any valid claims made after 30 days of delivery, we will offer to repair or replace the goods (or part in question) free of charge.

 

7. Privacy

7.1 All personal information is collected in a secure environment.  We will use this information to:

  • supply the goods; and
  • process your payment for those goods.

7.2 Once an order has been placed, we will contact you by email to confirm your order. Should we need to contact you for any reason regarding your order, we will use the email address or telephone numbers you provided. 

7.3 Apart from feedback requests, or assistance with delivery we will never pass your e-mail address to any other organisation. For the sole purpose of aiding a delivery, your contact details may be shared with the chosen carrier.
